Guide to Admissions at West Wind School
General Admission
A child is eligible for admission to the nursery class in the year the child turns three, e.g. all children born in the year 2007 are eligible for admission in the academic year beginning February 2010.

Mothers of prospective students are expected to register by filling out an admission questionnaire in the year that the child turns two. Registration is open between 9.45 am to 11.45 am, Monday through Friday, in the month of July every year Please note that only mothers will be permitted to fill out the questionnaire. No fathers or grandparents will be allowed. Children should not be brought along to the school at the time of filling the questionnaire. A processing fee for the registration from is charged.

All applicants will be interviewed. Interviews are held in the month of August or September. Mothers will be notified by a personal letter as to whether or not their child has been admitted to the school. There is no telephone in the school. For admission to the Lower K G and Upper K G classes, please contact the school directly, with a letter requesting the same, as those classes will only have seats available if vacancies occur during the academic year.

Admission for Preference Children
" A preference child can be registered birth onwardsand will be given a registration number. Preference children have to be registered for a minimum period of one year to be considered preference.

Mothers of preference children may come to school anytime throughout the school year to complete the preference registration form. Mothers are also expected to come to school to fill in the admission questionnaire in the month od July in the year the child turns two.

Preference children are not guaranteed admission."
